The results presented by the student groups are also expected to contribute useful insights to the upcoming International Mountain Conference (IMC2025), which will take place in Innsbruck, Austria, from September 14 to 18, 2025. The conference is a renowned scientific symposium that brings together researchers engaged in the study of mountain systems in all their complexity.

Among the thematic workshops, one in particular resonates with the students’ work: 

WS 3.106 – “Tourism(s) in Mountain Huts: Climate Change, Tourism Flows, Visitor Impacts, and Sustainable Management Solutions”

This alignment confirms the academic relevance and the applied potential of the research developed within the Tourism Eco-management course. The Project works are in conjunction with an ongoing research on all the Italian Mountain Huts, by the Group coordinated by Prof. Riccardo Beltramo, which is recording promising results.
